Terms of Reference for review announced
Terms of Reference for an independent review into the University’s policies, systems and practices regarding bullying and harassment have been finalised by Kate Davenport (QC).
The review will provide staff, students, and other interested parties the opportunity to confidentially share information about their experiences, concerns, and suggestions about ways in which the University can improve. The review will report to the University’s Council.
The complete Terms of Reference are on the University website. Ms. Davenport will be reporting directly to the University’s Council on:
- The University’s current workplace harassment Policies and practices
- Whether and to what extent staff/students feel able to raise complaints and speak up about harassment (including, but not limited to sexual harassment); and
- The nature of, and the way, incidents of harassment have been handled by the University.
Key findings and recommendations will be made public, but information collected as part of the review will be confidential.
