The short, animated video acknowledges Fijian Language Week which is being celebrated in Aotearoa from 2-8 October.

Narrated in Fijian (with English subtitles), the video looks at ways to improve working conditions in hospitality workplaces, to ensure the sustainability of the industry.

Voices from the front line

Check out the AUT research — Voices From The Front Line — which looks at workplace practices in the hospitality industry and gives recommendations to improve working conditions.

The Report gives voice to hospitality workers whose feelings are often overlooked or marginalised.

Voices From The Front Line was headed by Dr David Williamson from AUT’s School of Hospitality and Tourism, with Professor Erling Rasmussen from the New Zealand Work Research Institute at the University, and research assistant, Camille Palao.
