BCIS final projects showcase diversity

AUT Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences graduating students’ industry projects have showcased creative and diverse thinking, developing solutions for a range of organisations.

The projects form a key connection for students as they complete their degrees, working on a real-world project briefed in by industry partners from both the public and private sectors.

This year’s projects included a patient navigation system for Middlemore, New Zealand’s second largest hospital, to help reduce patient stress as they find their way around the hospital, an IoT sheep identification project and delivery fleet management.

The projects aim to provide solutions to specific problems, for example analysing business processes and IT requirements, software evaluation and implementation, software development or commercial research.

New partners and projects are being sought – if you'd like to work with AUT’s students in 2021, please submit a project.
